AUB | OSB Third Case Conference (2025)

Olayan School of Business​, American University of Beirut ​in partnership with Ivey Publishing is hosting its third case conference on February 20-21, 2025 at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo, our twin campus in Pafos, Cyprus.

The Third Case Conference

The AUB-OSB Third Case Conference offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network and engage with case writers and educators in the region. A rich program includes keynote speakers, professional development workshops, panels, and case development sessions led by seasoned case writers, educators, and Ivey Publishing. During case development sessions, participants will present their new case ideas and obtain detailed developmental feedback from experienced case mentors. The aim behind these mentor-participant case development sessions is to help participants move their cases forward to publication in our Ivey-OSB Collection, with case publishers and distributors, or refereed journals.​

Submission Requirements

​All cases must target any discipline of interest to a business school or management education. Cases must be original works based on a real (undisguised) decision by a real protagonist in a real organization using primary or secondary sources. Submissions are accepted in both English and Arabic. In submitting your case, you commit to having at least one author attend the conference and present the accepted submission.

Awards

Submissions will be evaluated based on their contribution to the development of contextually relevant cases and the advancement of the case method. Awards will be announced during the conference closing session.

The authors/ writers of winning cases will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Ivey Publishing to develop the case for publishing in the Ivey-OSB Collection.​

Publication Opportunities

After a peer review, the best developed cases will have the opportunity to be published in the Ivey-OSB Collection.
