Arabic and Oriental Music Studies Diploma

Objective

This diploma program aims to provide to a diverse public (different ages and generations) with no previous musical knowledge, a basic appreciation and practice of Arabic and Oriental music in its various aspects: theory, history, voice and instruments (wind, string, and percussion). Holders of the diploma will be at the level of music performers within an ensemble.

Course Description

Students should complete either the Arabic and Oriental Music Studies (Voice) Certificate or the Arabic and Oriental Music Studies (Instrument) Certificate, in addition to the below courses in order to receive the diploma:
