  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Agricultural Economics

The MS in Agricultural Economics program offers students a rigorous yet enjoyable training in applied economic analysis and qualitative and quantitative techniques. The skills acquired by students in this program will equip them to pursue a professional career in the agro-food industry, government, and non-governmental organizations, or pursue a Ph.D. in applied economics or related fields.
