A minor in history makes a strong complement to any other course of study. Students interested in politics, literature, scientific development, economics or numerous other fields will find the study of history highly relevant—or simply interesting! Students choosing to minor in history must complete five courses numbered 200 and above. All minors, especially those considering graduate work in history, are encouraged to take HIST 287 as one of the five courses.
