Management Essentials Program
Cohort 1, April 2019
The first cohort of the Management Essentials Program concluded successfully in April 2019, when 20 executives from different sectors participated in the six-day intensive program and explored important topics related to management and leadership such as marketing, human resources, operations, finance and strategy, combined with applications for daily business activities. The program was held on the AUB-OSB campus and included both face-to-face sessions as well as online engagement, and used a mixed delivery method including lectures, discussions and case studies.
Participant Antoine Khater, IT and Cloud Solution Partner at Ericsson, noted, “this program is a great eye-opener to the different pillars that maintains a successful business. It provides an overall view with great insight and best practices on how to lead, market, operate and strategize your business through adequate people, processes and tools."
“I feel better equipped to manage after completing the Management Essentials Program," commented Charbel Nahed, a Senior Development Manager at GlobeMed. “It was a very good mixture of theoretical and practical topics."
Romy Cortbaoui, Head of Internal Legal Affairs at BLOM Bank, concluded, “I had the chance to assess my management skills and highlight things to improve. Meeting professional, positive, inspiring people was personally enriching."
