Internship Program at the Institute

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Are you a motivated university student or recent graduate interested in contributing to the fields of public policy and international affairs?

Make sure you apply to our  internship program!​

The next session is the Spring internship, which will start on January 12, 2026​. 

​Our Institute accepts applications from undergraduate and graduate students at all levels. Our work is mostly in English and Arabic is an asset, but not a requirement.

Deadlines for internship applications

Fall 2025-2026 session

Duration 

Duration ranges between 2 to 3 ​months, with an expected 15-20 hours per week. 

Support and Benefits 

  • Campus Benefits: The Institute will provide interns with internet connection and access to the AUB campus and the AUB library.

  • Certificate of completion: A certificate of completion will be provided to interns by the end of the internship session.

​Application Process

​To apply, please send all of the following to ifi.internships@aub.edu.lb: 

1. CV/resume. 

2. Letter of purpose stating the specific IFI unit you are applying to. 

3. One recommendation letter (academic or professional)​.

Due to the high volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
