  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Lama Bou Karroum

Lama Bou-Karroum (MPH, BSc) is a Research Coordinator and Instructor of Public Health Practice at the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center. She is also a systematic reviewer at SPARK Center, and a member of the Heath Systems Global.

Her research interests and work are focused on health policy and systems research, systematic reviews, priority setting methodology, knowledge translation, policy analysis and policy tracing research studies. She has extensive experience in searching electronic databases and developing comprehensive search strategies for relevant topics. She also has experience with qualitative research methods and data analysis.

She has co-facilitated, organized and coordinated numerous capacity-building workshops on systematic reviews, knowledge translation and evidence-informed health policymaking. She holds a Master in Public Health with a concentration in Health Management and Policy (2011) from the American University of Beirut.
