Overview
The Strategic Fellowship Program at Curatio International Foundation is a joint collaboration between Curatio International Foundation and the K2P Center. The program and course outline have been developed in accordance with the K2P Fellowship course outline and with the guidance of the K2P team members. The CIF team adapted the course according to the context and needs of selected candidates.
The Strategic Fellowship Program is implemented annually and will enable healthcare professionals to deepen their competency in creating evidence and acquire all skills needed for a successful advocacy cycle.
Selection of Fellows
Out of 35 applications, 16 fellows were selected to take part in the first wave of the Fellowship Program. Representatives of the government and non-government sectors working in the healthcare field. The selected fellows represent different sectors, present different interests and responsibilities due to their work-positions, and bring various skill-set.
Outputs
The 16 fellows (divided into 4 groups) identified the below priority topics for the evidence synthesis products they are developing as part of the fellowship program:
- Group 1: Digital Solutions in Primary Healthcare.
- Group 2: Drug Checking practice in the nightlife and recreation settings
- Group 3: Payment mechanisms in the hospital sector
- Group 4: TBD
Impact
Curatio International Foundation is currently working with the 4 groups of Fellows to finalize the policy products.
