​​​​​​​​​American University of Beirut Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) has been reaccredited for five years by the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business​ (AACSB)​, demonstrating continuous development and attaining the most rigorous standards of excellence in business education. 

Accreditation with AACSB is mission-focused and each institution has the responsibility of demonstrating progress towards the uniqueness of its vision and purpose. And at OSB, this means we have sights set on transforming business thinking in the MENA region as a local authority among the international top schools. OSB has been highly regarded within the international community as a business school of the highest quality in teaching, research and outreach and this has been supported by repeated rankings placing OSB as a regional leader among the internationally ranked.

Only five percent of the world's business schools earn this accreditation. Institutions that hold the AACSB accreditation demonstrate their committed to upholding—and advancing—the quality of their programs both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The school currently enrolls over 1,500 of the most select students in the region within its world-class BBAMBAExecutive MBA, and specialized master's degree programs in Human Resources ManagementFinance, and Business Analytics. In addition to its extensive activity in providing executive education throughout the region to leading organizations, the school has long been AACSB International-accredited​. 

OSB also boasts several research hubs and areas of excellence, manages global initiatives covering a wide array of subjects including data analytics, executive education, family business, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, and features award-winning faculty. ​

European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)​

OSB is a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)​, which is an international not-for-profit association, based in Brussels, Belgium. Europe's largest network association in the field of management development, it has over 890 member organizations from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 88 countries (as of September 2017). EFMD provides a forum for networking in management development.​

EFMD operates the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), which is one of th​​e leading international systems of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. It is comparable to its American equivalent Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and provides a forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in management development.

Responsible Research for Business and Management (RRBM)

Suliman S. Olayan School of Business  has joined the RRBM Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) initiative as a Partner School, becoming the 2nd business school in the MENA region to be recognized as a partner by RRBM. The global network of business & management scholars is committed to rigorous & relevant research in supporting business & organizations by impacting society.​​​​

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC)​​​​​

OSB has been admitted to the membership of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC),  a nonprofit organization of 220 leading business schools from around the world that are committed to advancing the quality of graduate management education​, fair and ethical treatment of candidates and students, and serving the graduate management education community.  ​

Institute of Management Accountants Endorsement 

OSB Bachelor in Business Administration's concentration in accounting has earned endorsement by the Institute of Management Accountants​, which recognizes programs that meet high educational standards, enabling students to pursue and earn the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) credential. ​​​​

Principles for Responsible Management Education​​​

OSB is a member of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). The mission of the PRME initiative is to achieve the sustainable development goals through implementation of the principles for responsible management education. ​​

Chartered Financial Analyst Institute Partner

OSB is the first partner of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute in the region. CFA partnership offers OSB undergraduate and graduate students access to the Level I Curriculum of CFA, news briefs via e-mail, and student scholarships. ​

The Global Business School Network​

OSB is the first GBSN's member in Lebanon​.​​ The Global Business School Network is a nonprofit organization that partners with business schools, industry, foundations and aid agencies to improve access to quality, locally relevant management education for the developing world.​​ OSB shares the vision of GBSN in advancing management education that delivers international best practice with local relevance. ​​​​​
