  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Mathematics Olympiad: The AUB Edition

The Math Olympiads are a competition aimed at high school students. The spirit of the contest is to showcase an unusual, stimulating and entertaining side of Mathematics: the problems emphasize ingenuity and imagination over technical prowess, and aim at introducing the students to new ways of thinking about the subject.
